Stowe House Preservation Trust

Stowe in Buckinghamshire is renowned for its beautiful landscape and the magnificent eighteenth-century mansion at the heart of the site. In the midst of an extraordinary allegorical landscape, Stowe House is a Georgian ducal palace a sixth of a mile wide, representing an immense legacy of architecture and craftsmanship.

Over a ten year period we provided support and advice to the Stowe House Preservation Trust in delivering an integrated series of projects that will improve the visitor experience whilst providing a long-term sustainable plan for the future.

Our work combined strategy on funding, conservation, interpretation and joint management with the site partners, Stowe School and the National Trust.
